Halloween 2012

I was SO looking forward to Landry's first Halloween.  So excited in fact I have had Landry's costume since July!

I love Halloween, but I've never participated in it much since I felt a little too old for it.  I decided Landry would be Dorothy this year.  The Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie and I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to dress Landry as what I wanted before she was old enough to choose for herself.

We went to my brother's house because they have a ton of kids in the neighborhood so we knew it would be a prime location for trick-or-treating.  We only went to a few houses but Landry still managed to get a ton of candy, too bad we wouldn't let her have any.  I sent it all to work with Edward.  She did an awesome job and started to get the hang of it towards the end.  She would pick the candy out of the bowl and drop it into her bag.

Pumpkin Patch 2012

One of the things I have most been looking forward to is taking Landry to the pumpkin patch for pictures.  Today was the day!  She was very curious with all the hay and pumpkins.  I love watching her discover things for the first time.  I was able to get some really cute pictures.  But of course, for every one cute picture there were about 10 not-so-great ones.  She did great though, never cried once!
